Breasts can be enlarged, made smaller, or lifted to create an aesthetic breast form at any age. Mothers, as well as non-mothers, often find that their breasts deflate over time, particularly after breast feeding. Breast implants are often used to “fill up” the breast and re-create the full appearance that many women remember from their youth. Sometimes, however, the deflated breast sags as well. Breast implants can help with this, particularly shaped or “gummy bear” breast implants, but often a true breast lift or mastopexy is also required. This may be done with minimal incisions or may need more extensive surgery to get the job done.
Body Contouring in Santa Barbara
As for body contouring, a mommy makeover classically involves a tummy tuck or abdominoplasty to remove excess skin and help flatten muscles that have become rounded and stick out a bit more than many women like. Some women, however, just have a bit of skin excess that can be taken care of with a “mini” operation. Others just have some fat around the middle which can be treated with liposuction or even CoolSculpting as a non-invasive option.
